Custom In-ground Pool Deck

This custom in-ground pool deck was designed for a property on Martha’s Vineyard, creating a refined outdoor setting that complements both the home and surrounding landscape. With the new pool as the centerpiece of the backyard, the goal was to build a deck that framed the water beautifully while providing generous space for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the summer months.

The deck was carefully laid out to follow the shape of the pool, creating clean, consistent borders and smooth transitions throughout the space. Open areas provide plenty of room for lounge furniture and gatherings, while thoughtfully positioned railings add safety where needed without taking away from the open feel of the design.

A standout feature of the project is the mahogany decking. Its rich natural color, subtle grain, and warm reddish-brown tones give the pool area an elevated, timeless appearance. The natural beauty of the mahogany pairs especially well with the surrounding landscape of Martha’s Vineyard, creating a sophisticated look that feels both luxurious and distinctly coastal.

Every detail was carefully considered, from the clean lines around the pool edge to the precise installation of the decking. The finished space brings together the natural beauty of mahogany with thoughtful craftsmanship and a layout designed for everyday enjoyment.

The result is a beautifully finished pool surround that feels like a natural extension of the property—an inviting outdoor space where the homeowners can relax, entertain, and enjoy the character of their Martha’s Vineyard home for years to come.
